Car hire for less than 7 days or as the only service we provide may incur a £10 admin charge.
Minimum rental period 2 days (oneway to/from Eilat 3 days minimum)
Satellite navigation (GPS) is payable locally at a daily rate of $13 – request in advance
Most airline loyalty cards receive points for all rental with Avis.
Choose one membership only and advise us at the time of booking and show your card on collection in Israel

High season rate applies from date of car collection regardless of date of return.

*Important
We strongly recommend the purchase of optional excess waiver shown above. Without this, you would have to pay compulsory excess in the event of damage/theft to an Avis car even if you are not at fault. Optional excess waiver is also available locally at a higher rate.
Notes / Conditions
1. An airport service charge of $27.00 per rental will be applicable for all rentals starting or ending at Ben Gurion Airport. This fee is payable direct to Avis at the time of rental
2. All cars are air-conditioned and include unlimited mileage
3. VAT of 15.5% does not apply on tourists entering Israel with a foreign passport
stamped with a B2, B3, or B4 visa. Israeli citizens with dual nationality will be charged
VAT. This does not apply to minivans (groups K,M). Vat will be paid by customer to
Avis at time of rental.
4. All drivers must present on collection of the vehicle, a credit card, & a valid driving
licence. Rates excluding Personal Accident Insurance & Tax. Minimum 2 days required
5. For pre-booked reservations only, bookings should be made at least 48 hours in advance.
6. All car groups are automatically confirmed except minivans on high season periods
7. If you choose not to purchase optional excess waiver, you will not be covered for
the first damage/theft of $420-$990 according to the car group
8. Personal Accident Insurance $3 per day
9. Additional driver is payable locally $3 per day
10. Child seat is payable locally $3 per day
11. GPS satellite navigation available on request at $13 per day
12. One way to/from Eilat can only be taken for minimum 3 days rental.
13. Delivery to/from Ovda airport has a one way fee of $30 (payable locally)
14. Minimum rental age is 21 years.
Renters between the age of 21-23 can drive Groups A & B only.
The non waivable excess will be charged as double.
15. Avis reserves the right to substitute cars with similar models.
16. One rental day is 24 hours. If the car is returned more than one hour late,
each extra hour is charged at 1/3 of a day (at the local rate).
17. Cancellation charges apply to all reservations in accordance with our booking conditions detailed on our website or available on request. Prices subject to change.
