Petra (1 day) from Eilat

Pick up from your hotel in Eilat at 7:30, Arriving at the Arava border crossing we enter the Kingdom of Jordan, from here a 2 hour drive takes us to the ‘Lost City of Petra. An absolute must for all visitors to the region. Having walked for ½ hrs through the imposing Canyon (Wadi Siq) at its entrance, that awesome and monumental moment when you first step foot in Petra is upon you. Counted amongst the wonders of the ancient world, Petra is an archeological, anthropological and geological phenomenon. Your private guide will explain the history, legends, myths and truths of this astonishing city carved 2000 years ago from the red Sandstone Mountains. We enjoy a buffet lunch in Petra and leave Petra in the afternoon for Wadi Musa (a small village nearby), and a city tour of Aqaba. following this we commence our return journey to the Arava border arriving in the evening in Eilat.

March 1 – October 31, 2010  $202.00 per person 

November 1, 2010 – February 28, 2011 $255 per person

Meeting and assistance upon arrival and departure.

Transportation in A/C coach and a Guide. Short City Tour of Aqaba.

Entrance fees + Horse-riding and Lunch in Petra.

Transfer to the border & back to the hotel.
