The spiritual city on the Galilee

As you catch your first glimpse of Tiberias and the sparkling blue Sea Of Galilee (The Kinneret), you can understand why this area has been a popular tourist spot for over 2000 years.

Nature puts on its finest show in this area with nature trails, wildlife reserves and horseback riding all readily available. Famous because of its prominence among New Testament writings (the whole of the Galilee as the place Jesus lived), the Sea of Galilee is one of the earliest settled areas in the Land of Israel and boasts archaeological ruins sitting alongside some of the first pioneering settlements in Israel, as well as religious sites and modern Tiberias. The surrounding shores of the Sea Of Galilee has something to offer every vistor; historical sites, hot springs, religious shrines, fun and adventure and a 32 mile shoreline with every conceivable water-based activity.
